Yellowstone

We went to Yellowstone last week. "We" is defined as Chris and I as well as Justin. Jess and Jeremy were left to fend for themselves.

We had a wonderful time. It was nice to just get away for a few days.

I am thankful for neighbors who helped keep an eye out for Jessica. Jess called one particular neighbor every day to report that she was ok. I appreciate all the extra "mom's" who helped to make the week more enjoyable for all. Good friends are priceless.

We stayed in a Frontier Cabin at the Canyons. The only amenities we had were heat, electricity (two outlets) and a hot shower. No TV, No Telephone. Oh ya, we also had a locking door. (I've been to some places where even the door lock was iffy.)It was nice to be right in the park so we could get out early into Hayden Valley. We were just minutes away. It sure beats a drive in and out of the park to West Yellowstone.

There were still a lot of people in Yellowstone, but not as much as a summer-time visit. It was fun to be able to stop and enjoy the sites and animals. The weather was cool, but still pleasant.
