September?
September already? I can't believe this year has flown by so fast. Except for August. August just crawled for me since I had surgery on August 2nd and I've been at home (ie: didn't go to work) the entire month. The first week it was sleeping. A lot. I couldn't even watch a movie without sleeping most of the way through it. Then it was on to the book reading phase for the next two weeks or so. I caught up on a LOT of partially finished books. I also took time to read some new books such as "Hunger Games," "Catching Fire," and "Mockingjay" by Suzanne Collins. I thoroughly enjoyed the books. Now I'm onto the "Oh my heck...I go back to work in HOW many days?" phase which means I'm doing "projects" at home. "Projects" in this case is that never-ending pile of "paperwork" I never have time to deal with. Problem is, I'm still having problems dealing with it. In the mean time I've enjoyed being around for my kids and getting reacquainted with them. They've also taken really good care of me this past month too. Which is nice.
