New Goal

I think I'll blog more this month. Ok, they will probably be boring, but I'm going to do it. I realized I didn't post at all in September.

Once we got past the initial shock of going back to school, things have been going relatively well. Sure, I still hear (on a regular basis) "Mom can I transfer out of my ____(fill in the blank) class?" Sigh.

Doctor visit this afternoon for Justin. That means I have to leave work early. But oh! Wait! I have a one-on-one appointment with my manager about 30 minutes after I need to leave. Guess I'd better see if I can reschedule. Why do I always seem to forget those issues until it's almost too late? Dr. is also in the SL Valley. I hope traffic isn't bad today. It's been bad almost all week.

Had a LONG talk with Justin last night about going to bed at the same time each night. He's missed at least one day a week since school started because he's too tired to go. On those days he sleeps until the afternoon. I still can't figure out how anyone sleeps for so long. I certainly can't do it.

I talked with Jeremy last night for a few minutes. We're giving him the Tacoma and since the registration expired on it yesterday, I'm pushing the issue. "But I don't have the money." Ya I know. Neither do I. But we'll figure it out. Oh ya, speaking of which, I still haven't printed out the temporary registration for the van. Guess I'd better do that before I get pulled over!

Chris had a filling fall out last night. Hopefully the answering service will pass the message to the dentist this morning. I wonder what the dentist office will think when they realizing they're calling the jail...good thing Chris has sick time to take. TONS of it actually.

Ran my first 5k last Saturday. Ok, it was 90% walking. But I finished it, and if I can do it ANYONE can do it. Thankfully the soreness has finally gone.

Oops. I hope I didn't kill my tomatoes last night since I didn't cover them. Although, maybe that's not a bad idea...It got down to around 34 degrees.

I had a dental claim denied this week. Huh? It was surgery on the root of a tooth, since it's already had a root canal, but still gave me "issues". The procedure is a "apicoectomy" This was the last ditch effort to save the tooth. Dental insurance wants me to file the claim with the medical insurance. HUH? Medical? I don't think so. This was a tooth issue. But now I get to dispute the denied claim. So much fun!!

Oh ya, I also have Parent Teacher night at the junior high, and then Special Needs Mutual later this evening.

This is turning out to be a very busy day.
